Delivery Information

We make every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible. After a credit card purchase is approved, most orders are shipped from our warehouse within 3 business days. Delivery can take from 1 to 10 business days depending on geographic location. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery of items in stock.

Out of Stock Items

While we make every effort to keep all featured products in stock, occasionally we are sold out of certain items. If we are out of stock on an item you have ordered, we will send you an e-mail update as quickly as possible. It will then be your choice to proceed and keep the order in place or cancel it.

Shipping and Handling

All orders are shipped via UPS Ground Service. MilanoDirect.com offers free shipping and handling on all orders shipped within the continental United States where UPS Ground Service is available.

Delivery Information

UPS deliveries are made Monday - Friday only, excluding Holidays.

Post Office Boxes

MilanoDirect.com orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes.

Shipping Outside the Continental U.S.

MilanoDirect.com only ships merchandise to the continental United States where UPS Ground Service is available.

Cancellations and Changes

Only unshipped items can be cancelled as long as the item was not manufactured or assembled specifically for you. Some items, while they can be cancelled, involve a manufacturer's cancellation fee, for which the customer is liable. Once your shipment leaves our warehouse, cancellations will not be accepted. Please inquire prior to placing your order to determine if this policy applies to your merchandise selections.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise

We make every effort to package items so they will arrive at your door safely. Despite our best efforts, sometimes damage does occur. After receiving your shipment, you have 72 hours in which to inspect the product(s) and inform MilanoDirect.com of any defects in material or workmanship or damages that occurred during shipment, prior to delivery. If you determine your product is defective or was damaged during shipment, please contact us by email at info@milanodirect.com. All items must be kept in their original shipping containers so that a freight claim can be filed by the consignee (customer). Failure to comply with the guideline for shipping damage may waive your right to a freight claim. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective goods for no additional charge, however, if a product return is requested, a 25% restocking fee will apply. If you fail to notify MilanoDirect.com within 72 hours of delivery of any defective or damaged merchandise, MilanoDirect.com is not responsible for the defective/damaged product and will not be able to service you with a replacement or refund.

General Return Policy

Our return policy is simple. Within 7 days of the receipt of your order, you may return for a refund, less a 25% restocking fee of the merchandise total price and the initial shipping and handling cost (as determined by MilanoDirect.com), any lighting or decorative accessory product that has not been used, damaged, is in its original container, and is in new, resalable condition. All original parts and components must be included or a refund or replacement will not be issued. The item cannot have been installed or modified in any way. All items must be enclosed in the original box with sufficient packaging material and have a Return Merchandise Number (RMA#), issued by MilanoDirect.com, on the returned box. To initiate the return process send an email to info@milanodirect.com, clearly stating your request and what you would like to return.

The following types of items and orders do not qualify for return or refund:

Large orders - Orders containing 4 or more of any single single item and/or any order having an invoice total greater than $1000 unless the items have a manufacturers defect.

  • Items not purchased from MilanoDirect.com are not eligible to be returned.
  • Custom orders or products that have been built or assembled to order are non-returnable.
  • Special Purchases, such as: Sale Items, Closeout Items, Discontinued Items and the like are sold as is and are not returnable. ALL SALES FINAL.

Return Policy for Large Orders

Orders containing 4 or more of any single item and/or orders that have a total invoice cost of over $1000 are classified by MilanoDirect.com as "Large Orders". Large Orders are not eligible for returns. If you are purchasing a large quantity of an item or several items with a wholesale value over $1000.00, we recommend that you first purchase a sample to make sure that the product(s) meets your requirements and that you are completely satisfied with the design, quality and workmanship. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure they have all the necessary information and that all their questions have been answered prior to placing their order.

Custom Made and/or Assembled Items are Non-Returnable

Many items sold by MilanoDirect.com are Custom Made and/or Custom Assembled to order. These Custom Made/Custom Assembled products do not qualify for return or refund. Please inquire before placing your order to determine if the item(s) you are selecting fall under this category.

How to Return Products

To return merchandise, simply e-mail us at info@milanodirect.com A customer service representative will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#), provide return shipment instructions, and assist you with all other return questions.  Returns must include the original box, packaging, and all parts and components. After receiving the Return Merchandise Authorization Number, the customer will have 14 days in which to return the product to MilanoDirect.com. After 30 days, the Return Authorization will expire and no replacements or refunds will be given.

Customer's Responsibilities when Returning Product

It is the responsibility of the customer to prepay all shipping costs to return merchandise to MilanoDirect.com.

When returning product to MilanoDirect.com it is the customer's responsibility to package the product in the original box with sufficient packaging material, mark the box with the issued RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, prepay the shipping charges and it is in the customer's best interest to insure the package. Any returned item received damaged at MilanoDirect.com is the customer's responsibility and no replacement or refund will be issued. All return merchandise sent freight collect will be refused.

Products that are Damaged During Return Shipment

If the product is damaged during shipment back to MilanoDirect.com, we will not be able to issue the customer a refund or credit for the product. We will inform the customer via email that the item(s) were received damaged and we will hold the damaged product up to 45 days. It is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and to instruct MilanoDirect.com concerning the disposition of the damaged product. If MilanoDirect.com has not received notification or response from the customer within 45 days, the damaged item will be disposed of.

Refunds

Customer will be refunded (less a 25% restocking fee of the merchandise total price and the initial shipping and handling cost as determined by MilanoDirect.com), once we have received the returned item and inspected the item for damage. Please note that we do not offer refunds for shipping and handling costs.
